Starbreed is a confident niche fusion: an 18+ 3D rail shooter that actually asks you to learn boost lanes, barrel rolls, and boss patterns, wrapped around a party Affinity dating loop with English voice work and a large scene backlog (40+ adult scenes advertised across marketing language). Developed by RegulusNSFW and published by Mango Party, it released July 30, 2026 on Steam (app 2694020) and itch.io for roughly $10.99. It is single-player only—single-player only—and that focus helps. The fantasy stays intimate: your ship, your party, your hub.

If you want a pure visual novel, look elsewhere. If you want a rail shooter that treats romance unlocks as a real meta-progression layer—conversations at 0 / 25 / 50 / 75, Trials at 100, Data Chips for Pom, Credits for weapons—Starbreed delivers a loop worth finishing.

Gameplay
